CONTEXT FOR THIS…
The writing below represents two emails that I sent to my email list. They do a few things. As you read them, take note of this:
One) The second email ties into the first email. So it produces a serialized effect, promoting more consumption of the first email.
Two) They are presale emails. They are designed to build a little buzz for something I am getting ready to sell.
Three) They promote my free Substack (as an afterthought.) Because there should always be a “what’s next” in an email (from my viewpoint.) Even if that “what’s next” is a free thing and not the MAIN thing. So a primary and secondary purpose.
Now, I’ve been writing emails for many years, so I don’t really have to think about these things too much. I just do them. It’s what some would call unconscious competence.
But I wanted to post them here as an example of how I do things, for those who want to learn more about the art of email copy. Here we go:
EMAIL 1:
SUBJECT LINE: End of the road…
End of the road…
This morning I woke up with “End of the Road” by Boys To Men rattling around my brain. Ever heard that song? Yeah…you probably have.
Isn’t it funny how sometimes a song will just be bouncing around your head with no clear reason as to why?
Maybe it was because today is the first day of me cutting grains, dairy and “added sugar” out of my diet.
Lol, maybe my subconscious mind is saying goodbye to all those goodies I’m not going to be eating anymore.
Especially those peanut butter M&Ms. Time to say goodbye to those bad boys for sure! So good but so bad!
“It’s unnatural…you belong to me, I belong to you!”
Lol…yeah I was singing it to those damn M&Ms…time to say goodbye!
You know how it is. Things that were fine in your 20’s? It’s like your brain still wants to eat that way, but your body is rebelling against you.
Anyways…
I hope you’re doing good out there, whatever you are up to and whatever you are working on.
Me?
I’m working on the final touches of a pretty big product release. It’s actually a bundle package of all new products centered around digital product launching and info products.
This one is 5 brand new audio trainings, all around the subject of digital product launching and releasing info products.
Why THAT subject?
Easy. It’s just made me a ton of money over the years. It’s something that was working when I first came into this space…
…it’s working today as good as ever…
…and it will probably be working for decades to come.
It’s something that I think everyone should know how to do.
You know…people are afraid of product launching because they think it’s too complicated. Too much of a commitment.
As if they weren’t committed like indentured servants to their jobs.
I’ll tell you one thing, if you commit to digital publishing the way you commit to your job, you could probably double or even triple what your job pays you in about 12 months.
This skill is critical if you ask me.
It’s helped me build my email list.
It’s helped me build my membership clubs.
It helped me buy a few vehicles over the last 10 years.
And it even helped me buy my house and support my family.
So, this bundle I am putting together…
…it’s like my love letter to product launching and digital publishing.
So I AM excited to get it out to you. Probably a couple more days on this one though before I’m ready. All the courses are done. Just working on sales materials.
But that being said…
Do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions regarding this upcoming bundle package release…
…heck I might even create a whole new course to add if I get enough questions about things I didn't talk about in there. We’ll see.
Alright, rambling dialog over.
Something useful:
My son is a sophomore in High School, and he’s taking Geometry. IN Geometry they have something called the Transitive Property. It states that if A is = to B and B is = to C then A is also = to C.
That applies almost directly to online business.
If A influences B and B influences C then A also influences C.
In other words:
If a lead magnet gets people into an email sequence…
…and the email sequence leads to a purchase…
…then the lead magnet ultimately leads to purchases.
That’s something you can use to uncover far more complex arrangements and solve problems in your business. Hope it is helpful!
That’s all I got!

EMAIL 2
SUBJECT LINE: Out come the mathematicians…
Out come the mathematicians…
I had no idea I had so many mathematicians on my list. You are a smart group of folks.
Yesterday, I sent out an email talking about a few things really, but one thing I mentioned was something called the Transitive property. To reiterate:
The transitive property is a mathematical rule that states that if one thing is related to another thing, and that second thing is related to a third thing, then the first thing is related to the third thing. It can be used with numbers, algebraic expressions, and geometric concepts.
And I was saying that this has a direct correlation to online business and internet marketing, and in fact can be used to solve more complex problems surrounding them.
However, I received several messages that stated (and I’ll paraphrase and summarize here)
"this is simple logic and is very easy."
Even a few allusions to the idea that maybe 10th grade geometry in America isn’t hard enough.
Now I could argue that these replies might be a little off-handed and that my son is very smart (top 1% of all 10th graders in the nation smart) but…
…I know they come from an honest place. Not a malicious place or a negative place. I tend to attract the realists, and I’m proud of that.
Here’s the thing I need you to understand though. The transitive property is easy to understand…yes.
It’s like all of Geometry.
It’s designed to take things that are a little more complicated and give you formulas to make them a little more simple.
Well, I like geometry because that’s MY job too.
Online business and internet marketing can get a little complicated as well.
A big part of my job is to make it a little more simple for people to wrap their head around. Help them line it up with where they are at on the learning curve and make it profitable.
Now that’s a little different for everyone.
So yes…"if A = B and B = C then A also = C" is a very simple concept.
But I have met people who have been trying to start a successful online business for 10 plus years without being able to do it.
Now when that happens, something has gone wrong.
When it happens repeatedly to many people, then the problem isn’t so simple, even if it looks simple.
That’s where the simple logical formulas from disciplines like Geometry can sometimes be useful.
Today I’ll be writing a sales letter for my new training bundle. It’s going to contain 5 brand new trainings all centered around digital product launching and publishing paid content.
I don’t want to reveal any names yet (I’ll do that tomorrow) because of the opportunists.
God love the opportunists, but if I start talking product names before I have something up, they’ll run out and buy the domain name and try to sell it to me, lol.
Regardless, this is going to be a Thurdsay through Sunday launch. Each training is around an hour and a half. They are audio trainings, but also a video streaming version is provided…
…for those who don’t like to download things.
And there are going to be some pretty significant bonuses.
But all that being said, let me stop procrastinating in this email and wrap it up. I need to get to writing the sales page for this thing.
I hope your Tuesday is freaking AMAZING! Don’t forget to take breaks, and don’t let anyone drag you down because THEY might happen to be in a bad mood.
Today’s victory is yours for the taking.
Keep rocking out there.
That’s all I got!
Kam
P.S. What do you think I should write about on Substack? I need to do some more writing over there: substack.com/@kamfatz
END EMAILS
Okay, so just a glimpse into my world and what I do. Hope it’s helpful to some would be email marketers out there. Have a great day and keep rocking!
Kam
Try geometry in middle school! What is the state of SC thinking y’all? ;) Mercy.
Thanks Kam, always appreciate your emails. Lots to learn from them. Keep doing what you do brother!
